Testimonials
Zoe (parent)
"Georgia Brooks has taught my daughter for over five years and has been an inspiring and supportive mentor throughout her musical journey. She has guided her through AMEB exams with excellent results and prepared her for professional musical theatre and opera auditions.
Wise, compassionate, and generous with her time, Georgia is deeply invested in her students' growth and wellbeing. I would highly recommend her as an outstanding singing teacher.
Chris (adult student)
"Georgia has helped me radically improve my singing across classical, jazz, and musical theatre styles. She brings to her lessons both deep technical knowledge and over a decade of experience of performing professionally as a jazz singer. She has taught me how to connect the vocal physiology of singing with the applied experience of singing, and has provided me a myriad of exercises to help me diagnose and fix issues in how I produce sound. After 6 months of lessons with her, I understand my voice better, I produce better sound, I strain my voice far less often, and I feel much more comfortable performing in front of an audience.
She is also extremely easy-going and neurodiversity-friendly; I am on the Autism/ADHD spectrum and she has been extremely understanding and flexible in her lessons to enable me to learn at a pace and in a way which suits my neurodiverse brain.
I highly, highly, recommend her as a teacher."
Amit (community choir singer)
"I was starting up in a community choir. I had always wanted to join a choir but was nervous about my singing, especially because I can't read music! Georgia was a great teacher - she taught me some important basics about vocal technique and how to work well in group singing. She built up my confidence and prepared me to participate fully in the choir. Six months later I was happily singing in a concert in front of my friends and family!"
